New Victorian coronavirus cases remain at zero | Bendigo Advertiser




VICTORIA has recorded another day free from COVID-19, as international flights return to the state for the first time in weeks. It marks the 41st day in a row without community COVID-19 transmission in Victoria. A total 106 returned travellers arrived at Melbourne airport early on Thursday, for the first time in more than a month. Other news: Travellers on flights from Colombo, Doha, Dubai and Singapore were to be taken to the Holiday Inn at Melbourne Airport, and the Intercontinental on Collins Street. Victoria hasn’t accepted returned travellers since February 13, when workers contracted the new United Kingdom strain of COVID-19 from guests at the Holiday Inn.
