EnergyAustralia will also invest in engineering studies on the potential to upgrade the plant to increase the share of green hydrogen in its fuel mix.
This is the new version of gas-fired power generation, we hope, in Australia where they are contributing to the net zero ambitions that we all have, said Liz Westcott, head of energy at EnergyAustralia, owned by Hong Kong-listed CLP Group.
